Peanut Butter

Every time I visit a lucky city with a Trader Joe's, I buy six jars of Unsalted Peanut Butter, among other things. It is the best peanut butter I have ever had. Just peanuts. No shortening or oils added. And it is delicious.

I ran out of all my stocked-up peanut butter last week and have been calling all of my friends and relatives to see if they are coming up to Utah to visit and would they mind bringing me a jar or two of PB from TJs?!

It's an illness, one I am willing to keep having if only Trader Joe's would COME TO UTAH!!

What things do you stock up on from TJ's?

  1. Heather & I will trade you TJ's PB for some JCW fry sauce! :))

  2. I'm a little weird about TJ's too. I've emailed them a couple times about moving to Utah. I live in NY so I am okay for now, but next year we're moving to Utah. What will I do????

There are at least three jars of that pb in my fridge.

  3. I, too, enjoy the Trader Joe's Creamy and Crunchy Peanut Butter made from unblanched peanuts... and have been purchasing this ever since I discovered it. As you stated, this does not have the extra sugar that many other brands have, including Jif, which used to be a favorite of mine. Now I find that it is way too sweet and opt to use the Trader Joe's brand as you mentioned above. It is delicious!

Keep in mind that this peanut butter, as shown in picture above, is not included in current recall of Trader Joe's Valencia peanut butter made with Sea Salt or Trader Joe's Almond Butter with Roasted Flaxseeds or other Sunland products made in Portales, N.M. - as far as I know. (Thank goodness!)

I also like to stock up on the Trader Joe's "Simply The Best" Trek Mix made with cashews, almonds, pineapple, cranberries and tart cherries. Yumm... This is great to keep in your cupboard for when you get a craving for a snack inbetween meals.
